I'm on my day off and the kids are in school, so I'm making the most of it and doing a mini spring clean to make up for the time I haven't spent doing anything over the last week or two while writing my reports.

So far I've
-Done a skip run with 2 bin bags of house detritus and 3 bin bags of garden rubbish.
-Sorted and dusted all my CDs and books, inc making a pile for the charity shop.
-put out a bag of clothes for one of those charity collection companies
-Stripped and remade my daughter's bed, rearranged all her CDs and Teddies, hoovered her floor.
-Stripped and remade my bed and hoovered my floor.

Stopped briefly for a drink and a couple of biscuits and off to resume. Eldest daughter's room I'm steering clear of as she is in the middle of her own spring clean and it looks like a bomb has gone off.

Bathroom and toilet room next, then. Then hoover downstairs and attack the kitchen if time allows. (I have school run at 3pm and a parcel to pick up first from the next town).

Upstairs done now. Have cleaned the bath, floor and sink in the bathroom and also the floor and the toilet too. (Not with the same cloth!)

Have wiped down the doors upstairs and did tackle some of the rubbish in DD1s room after all - I await the disaproval later for throwing away cut up boxes and scrappy pieces of paper.

Have also swept and mopped the kitchen floor and cleaned the little food bin. Next is hoovering through the downstairs, then parcel collecting.

(This is a pointless thread really, but it does make me feel how much I've done when I've written it all down!)

3 loads of washing and drying
Cleaned the bathroom, bath/toilet/sink/tiles/all woodwork wiped down/floor mopped
Last nights dishes done (couldn't be arsed last night)
Bleached all surfaces in kitchen and wiped down all cupboards and appliances
Hoovered the entire downstairs
Polished all surfaces in the living room
Tidied dd's toy corner that is getting increasingly bigger..
Organised the shoe rack

Hmm, doesn't feel like i've done half of that actually! Off to hunt down a few digestives and a cuppa now to reward my hard work Grin

Nothing fancy like you op, just my usual lot!
Hoovered upstairs and downstairs
Done last nights pots
Cleaned the guinea pigs hutch
Dusted
Done a big wash of darks and hung them out
Made mine and ds's beds
Cleaned the downstairs loo
Straightened everything up about 200 times after ds

My dm took ds2 off my hands for a few hours today so I have got loads done.

3 wash loads. 1 load line dried other tumbled as it started raining.
Bathroom deep cleaned and floor cleaned.
Kitchen deep cleaned and floor cleaned.
Lounge tidied and hoovered.
Loads of stuff taken upstairs (but that still needs to be put away).
5 loads of washing up and dishwasher unloaded and loaded then unloaded again.

House was a real state so every job took quite a while. Looking good now though, but I need to go upstairs to put away everything I took up there.

Will tidy the children's rooms tomorrow.

Grrrrr.....almost wish I hadn't bothered.

The kids (jokingly) complained that I'd sorted their rooms out and they didn't know where things were. Then they expressed the correct amount of thanks.

OH, on the other hand has done nothing but complained that I have moved some of his CDs (I haven't) and that I've moved some of the Tat on his shelves when I dusted (I did and didn't remember where it all went but it is all there still)....I've told him he needs to get over it!
