Maybe I put them on too hot a wash? But anyway one has 3 slits in the fabric, the longest about 3cms. Is there anyway it can be fixed until payday? It looks scabby :'(

Selotape on the inside ??? wonderweb stuff , the white , just put the net between a tea towel you don't want to melt it...Just an idea no idea if it will work !

Do you have to have nets up?

FunnysInLaJardin · 19/06/2012 13:46

do people still have nets? I thought I'd slipped into the 70's there for a moment

I have to have nets! I don't want nosey folks peering in at me! But I did think how light and airy my rooms looked with the nets gone... But really nooooooo they have to stay! They're not granny type nets BTW they're as nice as nets come Grin

The holes are in the middle and there isn't enough material to try to hide them :-/

I'll try the webbing thanks. Can't make it any worse can I!! Lol.

Instead of nets, you could try transfers that stick to the window - look like frosted glass? That way you only have to do the lower portion of the window so you can have the top part free and keep the light coming in. I think you can also get it in a spray can - just mask off where you don't want it.
