anyone got a bissell spinfoamer carpet cleaner?

I need to clean my hallway carpet and have been lent a bissell spinfoamer 1337 carpet cleaner but it doesn't have instructions. I can't find any online, I think you need to put the shampoo in with the hot water(?) and shampoo the carpet, leave it to dry (how long would that take?) then hoover up with a normal hoover? Anyone have any idea if that is right? The person who lent it to me doesn't really seem to know how to use it either. Otherwise I'm going to have to go and hire one....

I've got a Bissell but it's quite an old one so not sure if you still use it the same way. Yes the shampoo goes in with the water. You press the button on the underside of the handle to release the water whilst pushing it slowly. Then you release the button and go slowly over the area and it will suck up the dirty water.
