How do I remove scratches off a wooden floor?

Is it possible to do without sanding it all, and then varnishing (AKA minimal effort)? The floors are lovely, just scratched to bits. Sad Thank you.

You can't unscratch wood, but you an go over scratches with a wax crayon. Works a treat.

Sorry, you have to sand them smooth to get the best effect. You could try some wood stain on the scratches to help camouflage them (adding a coat of varnish on top) if you don't want to sand.

Thank you. There's a lot of scratches on the floor Sad I don't want to cause more damage to it, but it does need some TLC. Is it expensive to get a professional to repair it?
