I do like a teflon sheet in the bottom of my oven.

Are there any lifechanging products I'm missing out on?

pineapple thingy push it in the pineapple and twist and out comes a big spiral of peeled pineapple.

kaytola · 16/06/2012 11:12

Their own brand baking trays are the mutts nuts.

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/06/2012 11:14

Remoska

comfortmewithapples · 16/06/2012 11:17

The Cuisinart soupmaker is controversial if you look at other threads, but a friend of mine says it's the best thing that ever happened to her, and is insisting I get one, so would be interested to hear opinions............

ScoopThePoop · 16/06/2012 11:22

Yes, Nagoo I've had the Teflon sheet for years.
I like my wee burger maker - just squashes mince into shape, but saves getting mincey hands.

drjohnsonscat · 16/06/2012 11:23

This is what I call an it bag: www.lakeland.co.uk/12159/Banana-Bag

suzikettles · 16/06/2012 11:25

We've got the potato and onion bags. Deadly dull, but they do a good job of preventing green, sprouty spuds (and onions).

Nagoo · 16/06/2012 11:28

Baby Goo is a banana fiend. I've had no black bananas for the last 6 months... I want to make banana bread. Her entire speech reportoire is 'Mama, nana, one more' Grin

Going in Lakeland is a guilty pleasure. There are so many thing is want when I go in there and I always come out with more than I intended because their products are so good and I am putty in the hands of lady shop assistants of a certain age.

The Lakeland baking trays and tins are definitely very very good for the money. I would like to buy every one in the shopa few more.

The steam floor cleaners they do are very good too for wooden and stone/tile floors.

oreocrumbs · 16/06/2012 13:43

These bath and tile scrubs are wonderful. If I could only buy one thing from Lakeland it would be these. The mesh side is soft but acts like a scrubber without scratching and then the chamois type side dries everything and it sparkles!

And these pegs. They are the best pegs ever. Fact. Only downside is you can't buy them without the caddy. I have several caddies now Grin.

I do love lakeland. I devour the catalogue when it comes... They have just opened a new shop near me and I'm scheduling a visit to that shopping centre just so I can go and see it and claim my free mints and burger press Grin.

Dawndonna · 16/06/2012 18:38

Oh ffs, who put up a Lakeland thread. Now I've got to go and spend more money!
Grin

forcookssake · 16/06/2012 18:49

Ooh I do love Lakeland! So much so that I have to reign in my gleeful reports on everything I've ever ordered from them for fear of sounding like a sales assistant on commission... Blush

So, the 'get a grip' piping bags are excellent - they have teeny dots of silicone which DO help you grip, particularly if it's something cold and condense-y that you're piping.

And the cake-release, it allows even the most intricate cakes to drop right out the tin.

And the vacu-bags to shrink stuff down into a 1/4 of the size, they're brilliant and stay sucked down. I was SO proud when they published my review in the catalogue one time Grin

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 16/06/2012 18:53

The stuff for cleaning the plate of your iron is brilliant, doesn't get all the discolouration off but it glides beautifully over the clothes afterwards.

VivaLeBeaver · 16/06/2012 18:57

The remoska looks good. How long does it take to do jacket spuds? Normal time or longer?

Alargeglassofred · 16/06/2012 18:58

Worktop wonder. It brings up the kitchen worktops like new! I actually enjoy polishing them it makes them look so show roomy!
Also sticky stuff remover . Works amazingly on crayons on Walls as well as sticky stuff!!!

Alargeglassofred · 16/06/2012 18:58

Oh and e mops!!!

wasabipeanut · 16/06/2012 19:09

I love the oven cleaner. Completely non stinky & works brilliantly. Although I like the idea of the Teflon sheet.....

jalopy · 17/06/2012 16:18

The heated clothes dryer - fabulous

Wingdingdong · 17/06/2012 19:41

The spider-catcher Blush Grin. I no longer have to shut the door of a room and Sellotape the bottom of it till DH comes home. I was wondering how on earth I'd hide my fear from DD. Anyway this works and DD gets very excited about spider hunts.

I could do with it being a couple of feet longer though.

If you're not terrified of spiders, the Sticky Stuff Remover is the best product. Does what it says on the tin.

MarySA · 17/06/2012 19:43

Don't get the huge storage boxes if you're a bit of a hoarder. But I do love their storage stuff.
