getting biro off leather sofa.

hello everyone!

I have just been given 2 beautiful cream leather sofas, and despite having a serious conversation with the kids about biros anywhere near the sofa, 1 week later, just like magic some little biro marks have appeared! anyone had any luck with stain devil or anything?

Same happened with my sofa's accept it was my DP who got it there!
We used some cheap hairspray and scrubbed like mad, seemed to bring it up - have no idea how!
Might be worth a try.

Magic sponge. In the pound shop. They come 2 in a packet and I can't remember the real name for them... But they are magic

i have run out of milk and don't have hairspray or babywipes in the house!!! will stock up tomorrow. thanks

We had this problem & nail varnish remover got rid of it. You just need a little bit on a cotton wool pad (or similar) and wipe gently.

Baby wipes, Pampers have the most chemically shit in them and seem to work best, also Johnsons and Huggies. I always have Pampers or Johnson wipes for cleaning, wouldn't put them anywhere near a baby though

Be careful with nail varnsh remover it can take the finish off.

Don't quote me on this but I am sure Aggie and Kim once said that if you spray a bit of hairspray on it then wipe it would lift it.

I am 99% sure but please don't hold me responsible if it all goes wrong!

Also perfume is a good one. Have got biro out with perfume a few times
