I have an oilcloth on the kitchen table, it's a White background with a pattern on.

idiot DH cut up a red pepper directly on the oilcloth and now there is a pinky red stain on the white part of the oilcloth.

How can I get this out? Tried scrubbing with surface cleaner to no avail.

Don't panic. It's very likely to fade in bright sunlight. If we ever get bright sunlight again.

I tried everything starting with bicarbonate of soda, then lemon juice, moving through various cleaning products until ending up with undiluted Domestos.

Nothing got it out so I chucked it on the roof of the Wendy house in despair and two days later-gone!

I do live in Australia thoughGrin But still.
