I've smashed the lid of my slow cooker and am looking which one to replace it with and have been looking at the new generation 5.7l crock pots, does anyone have one and are they any good? I'm a childminder so need a big one that can feed upto 6 children and 2 adults and maybe that could go in the oven. Or can anyone recommend any others? Thanks

Sorry cant help on crockpot but we have a tefal one which is really good. It's a 4 in 1 so you can also use it for rice, steam and porridge. Very large but doesn't go in oven.

I looked at that one the other day I think but didn't know if I'd use the rice bit very often.

I've got this one. We do batch cooking for the kids in it, 4 packs of mince Los of bolognese etc, 26+ child portions. It's fantastic!
