Am I missing something?

Currently on mat leave, so technically have lots of time for cleaning.

This is, apparently, what most of the other mums at nursery seem to spend their time doing.

I don't.

Bathroom is done once a week properly; dh is in charge of the kitchen , but I tidy as I go.

I take about half an hour to do downstairs and when dcs allow it, half an hour upstairs. All I seem to do is sweep round with a duster and a bit of polish, and it's done.

We do live in a small house (front door opens into living room into kitchen), so maybe that's it? But then, all the houses on this close look the same and they always seem to look better than mine. So what am I missing?

If you're house is clean and tidy to your own standards... Then you're missing nothing! Smile

Opening windows to air? Cleaning windows? Hoovering/mopping? Wiping skirting boards? High dusting (lights/corners/ceilings)? Changing bedding?
These are all the things I do very regularly.

I do none of those things.

Don't worry what everyone else does.

As long as you are happy, leave it as that.

Have a look around. If your house looks and feels clean to you, then it's clean enough. Some people are clean freaks like my OH some people are more relaxed.
