Ancient freezer clean

We are moving on Monday. I've just been going thru the garage; we have a chest freezer I would like to use in our new flat, on opening have discovered water and mould must have been lingering untouched for the 2.5 years we have been here, yurgghhh. Questions: how should I clean it and am I risking some sort of "house" storyline type mould exposure death for our family if I use it (once clean)...

kitchen cleaner with bleach.

bleack kills mould and mildew, once it is dead and dried it cleans off more easily.
