Mid sleeper - weight limit?

I am looking to get a mid-sleeper for my 3 year old but I wondered if anyone knew about weight limits. I would like to cuddle up with her to help settle her with a book. Would your average mid sleeper hold our weight? I'm about 11 stone and toddler is a couple of stone herself. The settling like that won't last for long I hope but the first while will be tough.

Any ideas on weight limits? Your experiences?

I'm sure it would be fine. I have a distant memory of myself and a past boyfriend in a single mid-sleeper - combined weight of about 18 stone.

Dh and I end up in DS' mid sleeper quite often, so it takes his 14ish stone and I'm about the same as you. :)

Thanks both. That's what I was hoping to hear as I'm sure that one of us will end up in her bed more often than not!

Mid sleepers are good, but I was glad to see the back of DD's tbh. Once she was settled I would try and slip away, it's very tricky to escape a mid sleeper without waking the child...

The weight issue would be fine though, I was up with DD in hers when I was pg.

I would love not have one but space is at a premium in DD's room. Luckily, she can be in quite a deep sleep when first off so I'm hoping escaping won't be too much of an issue.

I've not yet had a problem sneaking out of it when DS is sleeping. I have the steps at the 'foot' end of the bed, so perhaps that makes a difference? The technique I employ is to edge down the side of the bed - then nip across at the end and down the steps. :)

Thanks all. Going to order one today. Grin
