Tumble Dryer breakdown, help!

I'm totally swamped in dirty laundry and my tumble dryer has broken down. The drum is spinning but it's not getting hot, what could be wrong with it?

It's a White Knight and has worked perfectly up until now.

Haven't you got a washing line? The weather is perfect for that!

Anyway...mne went recently too and it was a simple case of a snapped belt thing..we got a replacement belt from Amazone for a tenner. DH took the back off our dryer and there it was...snapped

Can you get yours out to remove the back? It's tricky...kind of a two person job to get it back on!

I have a White Knight and on the back there is a little red reset button, try pushing that and see if it helps.

The red button seems to be broken Sassy, it won't push in. I'll have a look at the belt.

Weather has been awful here house, rain rain and more rain.

Surely the drum wouldnt go round if it was the belt, maybe it is the heating element?

Have a readhere

The red button isn't clicking so I assume that means that's not the problem?

It must be the heating element which is mightily annoying as there's no way I can afford to replace it this month.
