Have been having a huge problem with ants everywhere in the house over the last few weeks - maybe the hot weather? Last night there were hundreds in the kitchen, in the creases in the fridge door seal Shock, under anything on the floor, in the living room, everywhere, it was awful! Anyway got a couple of those little home defence bait stations and put them down last night and today there are only a few wandering about - can't believe it Grin I've not seen any ants actually go in and get the bait though - has anyone used these before? Did you find they worked without actually having a long line of ants going into them?

wait a week, then tell us. We'll want to know the brand you used, too.

I have recently used these bait stations in my garden and they seem to have worked because there is no sign of any ants inside or outside of the house. I did notice some ants around the bait stations for a day or two after I put them down but I dont think I saw any going in. It sounds like they have worked really quickly for you and resolved your problem. It is really horrible having ants in the house so you must be really pleased.

Yes, I'm very relieved tonight - however I will not get too smug until a few more ant free days have passed! Will be on antwatch for the rest of the week and will update! PigletJohn they are Home Defence Antstop Bait Stations - these

Bait stations working here too. Nippon ones.

tacal · 30/05/2012 19:00

It is Nippon ones I have too

Catsdontcare · 30/05/2012 19:03

We use Nippon bait stations every summer. Little beggars change their location each year in the hopes that we won't notice them!

Milliways · 30/05/2012 20:40

Yep.we used those and in 48 hours they were no more (most gone in 24 hours).

jalopy · 30/05/2012 21:57

Yes, last year and this year I had success with Antstop bait stations. I found the spray to be ineffective.

HMQueenElizabeth · 30/05/2012 22:19

Are they only for indoor use? Old they work outside?

Catsdontcare · 30/05/2012 22:22

We use them outside too. Just put a brick on top
