Last week, the red light came on to show it was on. The oil was getting warmer, the outside was getting warm (it does get warm on the metal casing)
But after ages, no green light to show it was up to temperature.

I tried my basket of chips to see if it was hot enough- no sizzle .
It's a Lakeland Limited 3 litre rectangular stainless steel and black.
It's been discontinued.
I tried the reset button, nada.
What can I do??
It's heating but not heating enough.
