John Lewis Polycotton or Polycotton Percale Sheets?

Looking at these fitted sheets and pillowcases and I can't work out the difference.

I know I am a heathen looking at polycotton but want something relatively inexpensive that will wash well and not need hours of ironing like the 100% cotton bedding I invested in previously. Hmm

Please advise!

There must be a bedding expert out there somewhere...

Those Polycotton ones are deep fitted for thicker mattresses. Percale is higher quality for a smoother softer finish. If you don't want 100% cotton I'd got for the percale/polycotton ones.

Thanks Daisy

They are, aren't they? Fine for current mattress but as we are going to get a new one soon the percale beckons...
