which one have you got and do you use it much?

I have a Dyson and use it daily!

It only has 6 minutes of power per charge (is an old one, I think the newer version has 10 mins power) but I can do the whole of the downstairs in that 6 minutes Grin.

I bought mine from one of the big catalogue sites (I think it was littlewoods) as I had £30 off my first order.

I have one of these for my main vacuum, due to storage problems in my flat. It converts into a hand held cleaner easily, but needs plugging in, as it's not chargeable.

christ the dyson is expensive!

you do the floors with it? am picturing you Grin

Yes, floors, cobwebsonceiling stairs, crevices around kitchen cupboard doors, sofa, pushchairs, dust from top cupboards. It is a very versatile machine! Grin

My sister has just bought a Vax Libretto, it was £25 from The Factory Shop, although they are a little cheaper on ebay [new!]. Our friend had recommended it.

She got it for the slight cat litter trail mess that goes through her house and loves it. I also have a world champion cat litter flinger, so she has bought me one now .

Not as powerful as a Dyson but plenty of power. We're well impressed!

I have a dyson one, I got it from eBay second hand, they also do refurbished ones on their own site.

I love it. Funny. Ause I hate cleaning, but I love it. Am totally skint and should probably sell it but I love it.

maybeIwillmaybeIwont · 19/05/2012 22:21

Oh well, maybe you get what you pay for!

But I used it today on and off for about 10-15 mins and the battery was still on full charge. I suppose it depends what you use it for.

Mine will be just as a supplement to my faithful Dyson upright.

ggirl · 19/05/2012 22:32

how long have you had it maybe?

OP posts:
maybeIwillmaybeIwont · 19/05/2012 22:41

Well, I have only just got mine, my sister has had hers about a month and her friend got hers about 3 months ago.

As you say, it might just be a matter of time Hmm.

Dyson are probably the best by far but I wasn't looking to buy one anyway, my sister bought me the Vax one as a present, so really, I've got nothing to lose.

And if it breaks, it's got a 12 month guarantee so back it goes.

maybeIwillmaybeIwont · 19/05/2012 22:43

Correction, my sister got hers just over 2 weeks ago.

ggirl · 19/05/2012 22:45

well I hope yours continues to work well
will keep my eyes out for a bargain
