I've got a cleaner coming round tonight to have look and cost up cleaning our flat (I'm in a pre returning to work after mat leave panic about not being able to cope). What do I need to ask (apart from how much do you charge!)???

Does anyone have any tips??? Do I need to tidy up ?? (its currently averagely messy for a house with a preschooler and baby- I don't want her to turn around and say your house is too messy for me to clean!!!) Any tips welcome

I would think you'd need to have an idea of what you want doing - some may be happy to tidy as they go along, but it will mean they take longer or get less cleaning done.

Do you want them to do the 'vac in the middle of the room' type cleaning or do you want furniture moved ?
Do you want things like windows cleaning ?
