Am hoping someone can give me some advice - just had a newborn baby and have a toddler so our sand coloured sofa covers (10 months old) have few water and sicky marks etc just on the seat covers. The seat and back are removable covers. My. mum has offered to wash them for me but dh thinks it will age them... Tbh I'd like them to feel sparkling clean especiallly with new baby in house. Wwyd? Thanks!

We just washed ours on our sofa that is about a year old.

I was meaning to after an incident with an uncapped felt tip pen, but was similarly worried about how they would survive the washing machine so just put a cushion over the mark.
Then we had a major incident with a cup of orange juice and I had to wash them.
I started with just washing the affected ones, as they wouldn't all fit in the machine together. They came out lovely and clean and in no way faded or crumpled or any of the things I was worrying about. So I would say, go for it!
