What do you stand your TV on?

Don't want a TV stand as they all look too modern. It's in our sitting room and it's quite traditional (big sashes, open fire, etc) and they all seem to be either black/chrome or boxy/contemporary wood or yellow pine. Anyone know of other options?

A blanket chest type thing?

Yeah I thought about that (my first choice tbh) ... trouble is then the DVD and freeview boxes will have to sit on top of each other next to the TV and you've got storage in teh box but you can't use it. Need one of these but nicer

I put my (smallish) tv on a 3 legged mouseman stool.
