There's only a bit, but it's black glitter playdough (home made).

Any tips|?

ice cube or ice packs (to make it crumbly), then hoover or brush.

Scrape gently at it with an old dinner knife, sweep and repeat. Use ice cubes in a plastic bag to harden and continue scrape and repeat.

I imagine that playdough is actually water soluble. To test put a small amount of playdough in some warm water. Does it start to dissolve? What happens if you add a small amound of washing up liquid? If this dissolves the playdough, once you have scraped up as much as you possibly can then, dab and blot with some warm soapy water, a cloth and some kitchen paper for doing the blotting. The washing up liquid will help to dissolve/ remove the oils in the dough.

You may need to put a damp ( not soaking wet) cloth onto it for a while to start the dissolving process.

If it looks like dampening it is just making a gooey mess then you might be better off leaving it to dry hard and continuing with the scraping.

Thanks - it is (mostly) water soluable (it's made with oil, flour & water) so that seems to have worked. I'll remember the ice tip for next time!
