Bosch calc n clean function

Hi,I have the sensixx b25l steam generator which is fantastic. Brown water has just come spurting out of the sole plate so need to use the calc n clean function. Can't find the details,having googled I can only find advice saying to press the button,but there isn't one.
Does anyone know how to use this function?

Bum. Called them & they emailed the user manual but I can't view it for some reason. Harrumph! :(

Cleaning the Boiler

To extend the life of your steam generator and to avoid any build up of scale, it is essential that you rinse out the boiler after several hours of use. If your water is hard, increase the frequency.

Do not use descaling agents for rinsing out the boiler, as they could damage it.

1. Check that the appliance is cold and unplugged for more than 2 hours, and that the removable water tank (1) has been removed from the steam generator.

1. Place your appliance on the edge of your kitchen sink.

1. Unscrew the boiler drainage plug located on the bottom of the appliance using a coin.

1. Holding your steam generator in an upside down position, and using a jug, fill the boiler (in the base unit) with 1/4 litre of water

1. Shake the base unit for a few moments and then empty it completely over a sink or bucket. To obtain the best result, we recommend that this operation is done twice

1. Important: before reclosing, make sure no water remains in the boiler.

1. Replace and tighten up the boiler drainage plug with a coin

Thanks! Can't bloody undo the bottom,it'll have to wait for dh. I thought the calc n clean might be some fancy whizzy thing,not just sloshing around some water in the tank!

first link does work after all - just need to go and check your downloads to access the manual as it is a pdf file. I have now downloaded the manual about a million times!!

my dh had to undo it as well - I must be a wimp!

When I undo the calc claen screw under base, there is hard white webbing- no sluicing possible. Manual conveniently doesn't mention this feature or what to do with it! Anyone got my model of the B25L? It's 3 years old and frankly more bother than it's worth.

I have just used the calc and clean on my Bosch steam generator iron and now it won't stop leaking water from the plate anyone know why this is please?

exactly same thing has happened to my Bosch B35L steam generator iron. Chalk was streaking all my clothes when i ironed so i did the calc and clean as the manual instructed. Now the iron plate just leaks and the hose connecting the iron and the base doesnt get hot. This is the second iron this has happened to so not sure whats going on

Hi,I have the sensixx b25S steam generator . The iron handle is getting really hot when ironing & steam coming out continuously.

Does anyone know how to use this function?

I know you posted this a while ago but now having the same issue with mine. Did you managed to fix it? Or it is dead? 🤦‍♀️
