Kitchen and recycling bins

I currently have 3 different bins in my kitchen - a largeish one for recyling, a kitchen top caddy for food waste and a carrier bag for the odd bits which don't go in either of the others.

I want to streamline the whole arrangement - should I put one of the bins under the sink - food waste maybe? as there is room and would free up surface space.

Should I invest in a brabantia/simply human? are they worth the money? and do the special bin bags add to the cost?

I am seriously overthinking this - pls help

I have three wicker soft sort baskets about 10 inch square and they hang on hooks one above the other on the kitchen wall. They are quite attractive baskets.
I have paper, tin, glass in each for our diff boxes outside. I have a brabentia for food waste which has a clicker lid like the big bins but it's a 15l bin I think. It's mounted inside the cupboard door.

Will look for basket link....

Our system has its advantages (none of the bins are visible or take up floor space) and disadvantages (frequent trips to the outside bin) . Its:

-in the cupboard next to the sink there is a 'pop-out' bin when you open the cupboard door. Next to that is the compost caddy.

-in the bottom of one of the other kitchen cupboards is a plastic box where all the recycling (glass, paper, plastic) gets put. When the box is full we take it outside and put stuff into the relevant boxes/bins

I'd definitely have food basket under sink rather than worktop, and most of my recycling containers are hidden in piece of hall furniture just outside (small) kitchen.
Using two cheap bin bags for food etc prevents smells.
