Recommendations for a Steam mop?

What the title is, I guess!

I'm fed up of lugging a bucket around and having to have all the doors open to aid drying and am looking to upgrade!

I've seen the Vax ad on TV and was wondering if anyone has one or something similar that they would recommend?

Thanks in advance

Bumping this, because i am wondering which one to go for.

I read all of the reviews for the Vax and many said that it left the floors still wet, but very clean.

I got the Black and Decker one which was great for the 5 minutes it worked... Reading reviews on Amazon indicates that a lot of people have problems with reliability of that model.

I sent it back and got a Vax which isn't quite as nice aesthetically (if these things can be) and is slightly heavier but is reliable and does the job so that's the one i'd recommend. I don't think it leaves the floors too wet, you control the release of steam with the Vax (unlike the B&D) so it's down to how you use it!

Hope that's helpful!

Thanks KatOD

I was looking at all the reviews on Amazon too and it's such a mixed bag I wanted a more 'reliable' opinion from MN!

I bought the cheapest one from Asda Direct (£30) on the recommendation of my mum! I love it. Simple to use and does the job. If you're looking for heavy use it might not be for you though. I use it weekly throughout downstairs on oak flooring.
It's a HOLME HSM2001, has 4.5 stars out of 5 with 270 reviews.

I did a similar thread a while ago and a few people recommended a shark one. I bought a cheap one which was a which best buy (forget the name but tbh not v good) - used it 3 times and never again Blush as it really did not work well enough to bother with. I find the quickest and easiest thing to do is to buy a squirty bottle of floor cleaner and squirt it straight on the floor and wipe up.
