Mattress cleaning?

TMI but had a heavy period and got blood on our mattress - how do I get it off?!

I had this happen after giving birth to ds.

I used a strong solution of washing powder and water and scrubbed it off. Left it spotless!

Get a cotton backed waterproof mattress protector so it won't happen again. I have them on every bed.

Omg I have been so pleased with the results of this I had to make a profile and tell you all about it......rub soda crystals on mattress and leave for half hour then hoover off. Results were unbelievable in front of my very eyes, brown sweat stains just turning white!!! Always read your forums but never thought I'd write on it, well tonight I had to, why did I never listen about these old favourites before??!!!!
