recommend me good <not expensive>pans to use on solid plate electric cooker

ive had this cooker 6 months and have managed burn my way through 2sets saucepans

can anyone recommend a pan/set that can withstand the heat retaining without burning black

and remedies for burnt pans also appraeciated
