Clothes dryer

I am thinking of investing in a good quality space saving clothes dryer.
Wall fixed would be better too.
I am eyeing up the brabantia fast folding wall fix. Anyone's got it?
Other recommendations?

(this has to be the most boring post ever!!!)

No advice, but am lurking to harvest any useful replies. We're hopefully moving to a new house soon and drying space will be at a premium. I hate laundry!

I would recommend a ceiling airer like this one They hold lots of washing (I can easily get 2 full loads on mine) and dry things much faster than a normal airer because the clothes are near the ceiling which is the warmest part of the room.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm worried I won't be able to put much things on there... I have 3 boys so I do a lot of washing...

Any other recommendations?

I've got the largest one from the link and honestly, you can fit heaps on there. There are 6 of us including 3 boys!! Because things dry so fast you can get through the washing really quickly.

I have a ceiling airer too and they dry clothes much faster than any other kind of airer. I can get a load and a half on mine and it's only a 6 foot four bar one.
Usually a load is dry in 12 hours, sometimes a little faster depending on whether the heating is on.

Ok so maybe I should give it a go!
I quite like the look of it and the fact that it is a simple mechanism. Thanks Smile

I love the ceiling ones! You could also make one with an old ladder, and remember you can hang things already on clothes hangers (if you see what I mean) so you'll be able to fit loads more on.

I have the ceiling one too, in my laundry room with a huge boiler drys lots of washing very quickly. It was in the house when we moved in, I haven't used a tumble dryer since...........
