Someone come and kick me up the arse please?

I started hoovering. Mopped the kitchen floor, moved into my son's bedroom which I'll have to tidy before I can clean. Ditto his sister's room. I have washing in the machine, in the tumble drier and on 2 airers to put away. There are 2 more dirty loads waiting to go in. Everywhere's untidy.

I want to run away. I've started too many jobs and now feel overwhelmed. Kick me up the arse and give me a list please?

ok no more washing on for the time being til the rest is all dry and put away.

start in son's room. just clear the floor so you can hoover (how old is he? old enough for you to leave hsi stuff on his bed and him to put it away?)

same with DD's room, clear the floor and leave her stuff on her bed. even if tehy are too young to sort it out you will have cleared the floor and can sort the stuff later.

take regular breaks. i use MN as my treat.

They're 11 and 9 so more than old enough to tidy their rooms. I didn't realise they had so much stuff out or I would have got them to do it this morning.

I've now shut the door of their rooms and they can tidy up when they come home.
Now to tackle the Everest of washing. Sigh.
