Chunky knit 60%wool / 40% nylon
Lined with some sort of synthetic furry stuff.
£15 off Ebay BNWT, rrp about £60

I have toddler so options are resell, or keep and machine wash (wool cycle).

I wouldn't be that gutted if it went pear shaped but I am skint so it would be a waste.

Too lazy to hand wash.

Advise me oh mners...

I do my dryclean only items on a handwash or wool cycle all the time. I have lost only one item so far so I say go for it!

I use a cold cycle and hang to dry for many dry clean items that DD2 thinks are bargains. The only things I have hand washed for her are those with extensive beading or sequins. I use a cold wash for woolens and wool mixes and hang to dry.

I have machine washed a lot of items which claim to be dry clean only.

However it is on a wool wash - and dried flat etc.

Hand wash is very easy to do, it's mostly to ensure you control the temp well, am a bit surprised, it's only 3 minutes of your life.

wool or delicate cycle has always worked for me..in fact, sometimes just the rinse cycle does fine
