Hi all, I wondered if anyone had tried doing this and if so, what dye you used. I bought a couple of old small parker knoll chairs from the charity shop in a grotty dated pink colour, but now realise that reupholstery costs are far too high ie I could have bought new modern chairs for less in total. The chairs are in good shape, just a shame about the colour. I wonder if I can somehow sponge or paint a darker dye on - maybe 'wine' coloured to go with the room they're needed in. Any tips? Or is this a silly idea?
