where can I get a nice looking board for the kitchen?

I don't think I care if it's a blackboard or whiteboard, or if it's pin or magnets - I just want to be able to write stuff on it & stick a few bits of paper to it.

However, I do want a groovy looking one, not anything twee - any ideas where I can get one from?

you can get a pinboard or corkboard (they are often made of a soft wood-fibre board) that you can paint with emulsion in the colour or pattern of your choice.
