sour milk smell from back of fridge

6 year old fridge, there was cream spilt down the overflow about a year ago. I cleaned it out by flushing with bleach and hot water, stuck a straw up the pipe at the back (ahem!). lots of gunk came out the overflow at the back...but the smell is back, no gunk this time...

have you guys got any ideas?

Try sticking a a small (open!) container of bicarbonate of soda in the fridge - it soaks up a multitude of smells.

Protein based smells are often fixed by puppy spray.

i have bos in the fridge, this smell is coming from the rear at the motor - should have been more specific...
