You know those metal bits that go round the ring of the hob. Mine are filthy! Blush

Any ideas?
The rest of my job is clean - honest! :)

If its the bits you can take off then I pop mine in the dishwasher on the hottest setting. anything.g else I just wipe till it looks clean!!!

cleaned my mums ceramic hob those afternoon....I want one so much!!!

It's not the bits that the pans sit on. It's the metal disks that the flames come out of iyswim.

Take them off and scrub them with a brillo pad. If they come off, of course. If not, scrub them with a brillo pad anyway! Grin

If they come off, dishwasher them or boiling water and Brillo pad. If they don't then boiling water and Brillo pad or steam cleaner if you have one!!

I've got a steam cleaner that looks like a clanger, I think I paid a tenner for it from home bargains and it's great!!!Grin

If they come off, give them a good soak in really hot water then go at them with a brillo pad, if they don't come off, soak some kitchen towel in soapy water, wrap it round them, let them soak a bit then go at them with a brillo pad.

Brillo pads and soft wire wool for the stubborn bits.
