Anyone want to join me with a (boring) list today?

Spent hours and hours cleaning playroom yesterday, which was an absolute disgrace and you couldn't see the floor. 4 large boxes for charity shop, 2 bin bags for dump and a 12.30 finish time last night it's now lovely, tidy and organised.

Moved some of my oldest dds little sets onto shelves in her room and spent ages trying to find relevant bits to match. Not tough but time consuming.

Am proud of de cluttering as am a bit of a hoarder but was ruthless and stern with myself. Dh is working day and night until next Tuesday morn (when we're going away for a few days) so I'm at home on my own with the 3 dc (6, 2 and 10 months). I work full time but have taken the week off. Want to get as much done as possible over next 3 days. Everywheres a tip as we're always working.

Where do I start???

Ds's bedroom got a thorough clean last week so really just needs a quick tidy/ floor washed.

Am thinking kitchen first... : major tidy,
Wipe down all surfaces, wash fronts of (farking cream!!!) units, sweep floor, steam tiles.

Dining room: clear piles of shite off table,
Dust piano and book case
Sweep and steam floor

Sitting room (nit too bad):
Tidy, dust, floors

Hall (embarrassing): major tidy up. Clean and polish mirror, dust hall tables and boom shelf, sweep and steam floor

Stairs : sweep and wash as it's disgusting.

Will try this first before thinking about upstairs.

Have to fo a few loads of washing and put away piles and piles of clean washing.

Ok that's kitchen done - all tidied, counters and doors all scrubbed down, proper "lift furniture out of the way" sweep and steam of floor (and dining room floor), even cleaned our microwave etc. Dishwasher loaded.

Table in dining room cleaned and scrubbed. Just have to polish piano. Another wash done (but not put away) and lasagne and veg in oven :)

Just have to bleach dh's work gloves and am having q dinner break

I feel exhausted just reading that, well done!

I have just painted two doors. Nightmare as the paint was very thick and now I have a blister on my finger. Got another two to go and all the skirting and frames of 4 doors. I hate doing these sort of jobs but they have to be done, seeing as the walls are being painted and now make all the w/work look yellow. Grrrr.
