Not sure I believe my cleaner.

I am new so please be patient.
I employed a cleaner for the first time 3 weeks ago. She is lovely-I trust her in my house and she has been doing a good job so far.
One thing that's on my mind though is that today she came an hour later at my request but was meant to stay for 3 hours as normal.
She arrived bang on the dot, but left a note saying that she had left 15mins earlier but will make it up next week. I have not problem with this but the time she wrote on her note was 1hr 15ins early not just 15mins.
When I texted her to ask whether i had it wrong about how long she was meant to stay she said that she wrote it down wrong.
Do I bite my lip or find someone else?

Can't you tell whether she's done all the work she usually gets done, or nearly all of it, anyway?

sudka1 · 06/04/2012 19:42

She has done a lot but there are some things she hasn't.

Does it seem more like 15min. of missing work or 75 min. of missing work?

Good point - maybe I have got it wrong. Think I will make sure I am in next time she comes. thank you Thanks

sounds like a miscomunication to me. did she know for sure she was meant to stay for 3 hours or did she think she was only there for 2 hours today? perhaps when you questioned she realised she made a mistake and tried to cover it?
