I just bought a new kettle and am much too fond of it. (Don't like DH using it as he is clumsy and may break it.)

Great wailing and gnashing of teeth. The surface of the kettle had a fault. Took it back to the shop. All the others in stock are the same!!

My mil had that kettle, it leaked.
