I have killed dh. Not really, but tempting when I saw the blood stain on carpet from a cut foot. Best removal? It has been there overnight.

Plenty of cold water (blotting, not rubbing) then a spot of Flash should do it!

Saliva

Don't rub it. Lemon juice with bicarb of soda on it to try and lift the stain whilst blotting.

Failing that, cover the carpet in more blood so that it looks natural.

Hairspray

Saliva, from the same body that the blood came from.

plenty of cold water with a bit of salt in - blot rather than rub

Blood stains are difficult to remove. You can use baking soda to remove the stains. If it does not work then you can use window cleaners but in small quantity.
