And now I would like you to come and tell me about your one. I use the machine to make cakes and to chop nuts, basically.

And if anyone has any eco-friendly ideas about what to do with an old food processor which is fine apart from an on/off switch that does not work Hmm I'm right here!

I bought the ken wood chef premium , very pleased with it too got great deal at comet, shopped around and found discount code to use too. Loved the kitchen aids but truthfully was being a bit mean and thinking of overall use.
As with mine you have loads of tools you can buy so is not just a mixer, you can, grate, shred, chop, make pasta etc so much more useful to me.
Only slight point is with thicker cakes I have had to to a check to see it's thoroughly mixed at the bottom but really happy.
Comes with 2 whisks, dough hook and a blender jug to sit on top.

I have the dualit fp & kitchenaid mixer. Love both. The fp comes with all the bits for shredding/chopping/grating etc & has 3 bowls. The only bummer is the bowls shouldn't go in the dishwasher (mine do now).
I also have the mini cuisinart chopper thing. That's really handy for a quick whizz!

I've got a Kenwood Prospero. Keep an eye on Amazon because the price seems to change daily Confused, I got mine for £115 but they can go up a lot higher than that. It's got a mixer, food processor with all the usual bits, and blender. If you do get one though check that the one you're getting on with the processor though - in Sainsburys the processor isn't included.
