How to remove the smell of cigarette smoke from a leather chair?

On Saturday we bought a leather rise and recline chair. When we said we'd have it, we had no idea the lady had smoked or we wouldn't have had it, but she did and we have!

The chair absolutely stinks and it is giving me headaches. We've washed it down outside with warm water and baby bath and I've used a pack of baby wipes on it but it still smells. Does anyone have any ideas what might reduce the smell abit, or even mask it? Are there any not too overpoweringly strong, scented leather cleaners on the market? I tend to avoid scented things 'cause they give me headaches!

TIA

I'd just use furniture polish.

Saddle soap. You can get it in hardware shops and horsey shops. Its a bar of soap and you rub it in with a flannel and then buff. Nothing in the world cleans leather better and has a lovely leather smell. It will also bring off years of grime!!

Leave it outside in the sunshine for as long as possible, but in fact it is very difficult to shift - sorry. After a few months it will start to fade ...
