Has anyone had a rug cleaned? Wondering if it's worth it?

it's an old, I guess probably wool Persian type affair

It's 78 INCHES by 120 INCHES

I'm wondering if it would be like £20 or £200. I've no idea at all

Do you know anyone with a vax? I shampooed with a borrowed vax it my rugs and carpets, and sofa all came up gorgeous.

If you clean it with a carpet cleaner, make sure you use a "woolsafe" product. It should come up lovely, but be prepared to spend some time on it. You can hire a cleaner as well.
