I bought gorgeous cake/ biscuit tons from Aldi today, one has heart shapes and the other flowers. They both have a cardboard outer with recipes on the back that sound nice, however, the first instruction on 3 of the recipes is to "stir the butter until foamy, add the sugar and eggs alternately"( then "mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the foamy mass"), do you think it means heat the butter? It doesn't give any clues on the ingredient list. The other recipes simply have you cream the butter and sugar in the normal way.
