We get loads of spiders and so get cobwebs easily. We also have mostly textured walls Hmm so they can get snagged on the bobbly bits iyswim.

I've tried sock on a stick- too wobbly. A mr muscle/ pledge fluffy thing on a stick - gets manky too fast.
Is a feather duster the answer? Confused

vacuum cleaner

yes, I use a synthetic type feather duster. The hoover would take bits of paint and plaster with it I fear. I really like dusting out the spiders webs

PigletJohn · 14/03/2012 19:32

the cobweb brush, obviously.

I use an old-fashioned mop on its stick which i keep just for this purpose, DCs are in big trouble when they grab this for spills! It stays clean enough not to mark walls and the stick is sturdy and long enough to reach over stairs, beds and other obstacles.

Your meant to get them down?

NettoSuperstar · 14/03/2012 20:09

Feather duster.
DD does it.

I have given up, we coukd probably get a plaque as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. We have super lumpy walls so even with a ostrich feather duster or the brush on a vacum rather than remove you often just spread em around.

ds3 sits on my shoulders with a feather duster. This of course is completely unnecessary but he loves it !

How to remove spider webs down a path . Use a stick that has broken sticks on the end of it. Wave it in a round circle as you walk. Problem solved !
