Hi, Would like to try and get on with just the everyday basic housework but sometimes lack motivation. Have had a bit of depression in the past so sometimes find it hard to get going.

Anyone fancy joining for a bit of support/motivation?

OK, I've had a good day (motivated by someone else's immaculate house).

DCs 1 & 2 to childminder and nursery,
Inside of fridge cleaned Grin
2* laundry washed, tumbled and folded in basket - waiting to be put away
Small food shop done at local co-op & mostly put away.
Baby fed, watered and generally cared for all day so far.
Pots washed and on draining rack.
Dinner for DH planned & will also do for nursery pack-up for DC2 tomorrow (don't know about me as I don't eat meat)

Still to do:
clothes to put away
washing on line since yesterday to get in and put away
hoovering to reduce chance of baby eating debris from floor
replacing as many toys as possible in relevant rooms
planning my tea

and everything to do with my return to work in 4 weeks...

Hello Smile.

I am also trying to do Flylady babysteps but will keep that to the other thread I'm on (I'm not very good at it). Blush
I am just struggling with everyday stuff at the mo and not getting as much done as I would like so that's why I started this thread, to try and get back on course with everyday stuff.

Anyway I am just having a Brew and I have got dinner on.
