Smeg fridge seal

i love my smeg fab fridge/freezer but the door seal doesn't close properly at the top. I suspect it could do with a new seal and door rehanging. This is entirely beyond me. Are there firms who will come out and do this? I've looked on google and failed. So please give me advice MNers. I dread to think what it's doing to my elec bills! Thanks

Mine has done the same. Great look, shite fridge.
When we had a new kitchen the fitter did remark he had not known a smeg with a good seal!
Can't help - will watch and see though!

Can't advise the OP, but wanted to say I've had my SMEG Fab30 for years, and it's been great, no seal issues at all! Maybe we have been lucky.

I had a Smeg Fab fridge and the seal didn't close at the top of the door on mine either. A quick Google revealed it was a major design flaw with Fabs, as the door is very heavy and constantly pulls the seal away. I sold mine in frustration in the end, and bought a much cheaper fridge - and now my food stays fresh for much longer. As WentworthMillerMad said - great look, shite fridge. If you want a fridge that keeps your food cold, by a different fridge. (I got more on ebay for mine than it cost to buy a new fridge.)
