Poo on new wool carpet

SardineQueen · 12/03/2012 11:26

There was a nappy escape situation this morning
I picked up the chunks
Dabbed a bit with a wet cloth
Put some spot treatment on it - the powder stuff that you rub in a bit and let dry and hoover up

I am left with 3 small brown smudges about the size of a penny right in the middle of the landing

Any ideas?

You need vanish spot remover for carpet, or something....

SardineQueen · 12/03/2012 13:46

Thanks for responding to my plea, mumblejumble.

I'm not used to wool carpet and I don't want to ruin it. My mum would know but asking her will involve a lengthy explanation as to how I "let" DD poo on the carpet Grin

try vanish carpet shampoo, the one you mix up with a little water. Mop up the wet carpet with by putting a towel on it and walking on the towel. Hope the stain comes out for you.

Vanish carpet and upholstery spray is good. My carpet is wool and it has not done any harm.
