Sheets for thick mattresses - where's best to get them?

We've just indulged ourselves and bought a new mattress - pocket sprung with memory foam on top, and it's much thicker than our current mattress which is just a sprung one.

Where sells good, cotton sheets for thicker mattresses at a reasonable price?

Oh, that's not really what I had in mind!

We've got a double so kingsize sheets would be enormous!

Dunelm do them but I got mine from eBay. £6.99 + £3.00 p&p for a deep fitted double sheet.

Google victoria linen. They make made to measure fitted sheets. I have used them

The duvet and pillow warehouse. Their plain cotton sheets are good. here

I saw some on La Redoute last week.

The place to get them is 'Dreams'. They often have some on offer too.

TK Maxx - excellent quality as well.

Our mattress is very thick and we got bedding from John Lewis.

White Company

John Lewis.

We just bought some from there, can't remember what they are called though. Extra deep or something like that.....

ruddynorah · 12/03/2012 14:56

Ours are from m&s. They're called extra deep.

Oh lovely MN'ers thank you for all of the ideas!

M&S and Next both sell extra deep sheets which fit our deep mattress with a memory foam topper on top. The Next ones are cheaper and ocme in better colours, but the M&S ones are a much nicer fabric.
