I'm so sick of them. We have a large footstool in the living room that stores trainers but other than that they're behind the dining room door next to the freezer or just left lying around.

There's not an awful lot of space for storage downstairs. Has anyone found a solution? I think there's so many around now as the season's changing so sandals are starting to appear.

I suppose I could store more upstairs? I'm naturally untidy but getting sick of it now. I want to be tidier.

marks place on thread

we use a basket in the hall for shoes, I store mine on a shelf in the understairs cupboard

there are clearly too many shoes and I need to have a cull

I love this bench but need a smaller much cheaper version

Well I had a search and found this. Reviews are good. It may fit next to the wardrobe in our bedroom? Or even in the dining room?

I don't have many and often get rid of them as aren't sentimental about shoes. One of my closest friends is so attached to hers she gets them resoled. She had tons of them! Especially boots.

There's a bench in Dunelm that looks nice for £149ish?

Oh it is the Dunelm one you linked too. Yes I like that but it won't fit at the bottom of our stairs, plus is over budget.

Where on earth would you put these? Grin
