I have a lovely little two bedroom flat and it would appear that i have broken it Sad. It's so full of stuff i can't open a cupboard without risking an avalanche of detritus. Where do i start? I have two ds so there is always a mountain range of laundry dirty, wet and waiting to be put away. On the surface it probably doesn't look too bad but there's no where left to stash stuff junk so it will do soon. Wise mners please pass on your wisdom at how not to be a clutter bug.

I'd recommend a look at flylady.net. Helps you get started with things like decluttering and daily routines. There are loads of support threads on MN as well. We've been decluttering since Jan and we are getting there slowly! It feels good to be doing something about it instead of running to stand still Smile

I second the flylady recommendation. we have a babystep thread here and it was moving a bit fast for some so we have separated it into babysteps there and chat here so that those who just want motivation don't get overwhelmed by our chat.

We would be delighted if you joined us in both. We have a couple of new members so it would be good timing.

Don't worry about reading what has already gone on on the thread. Just jump in where we are.

The flylady site is here with the babysteps at the bottom.

Ha ha! There is a "mission" which sends you under the bed every few months but you only have to go there for 15 mins. You can survive under there for 15 mins Grin
