How good is it?
I have to Hoover every other days because of dust. I have also a bad back which hoovering doesn't help. and due with DC3 in 2.5 months... So a bit short of time and energy too.
There's one of those robot on Groupon today and I want to know if it is going to be £60 well spent?? Or just a gadget with a short life span (like those dust buster)?
I have a cleaner once a week and I thought that maybe that robot cleaner could save me from hoovering?

I have a Roomba and love it. It works well and is very fun to watch. The only thing it doesn't seem to pick up well is feathers (I have budgies) but it gets everything else. My only complaint is it is a bit of a pain cleaning out the rollers and brush as hair gets wrapped around them. It has to be emptied every time too. Mine is about 2 years old now and has been used regularly.

Sixty quid way too cheap what make is it?

Gimme - it was a freetime robot cleaner

After reading reviews on amazon, I decided to go for the more expensive version of a roomba- I've used it already and I just can't wait to use it again!!! It did a great job.

Just need to tell my DP now that I've spent £250 on a "gadget"....

Last March (24th to be exact) I bought a roomba, he is called Micheal and I love him only slightly less than the children. He is really good, never gets bored and just relentlessly continues til our floor is clean. He does do irritating little cheeps to tell you he has finished though...I worked some really grim shifts at an old people's home to save up for him and I can honestly say he is worth every penny. Not gone wrong so far and I do like switching him on as I leave the house knowing I will come back and it is all clean.
