Maintenance wash with bleach?

Another one of these!

We live in rented accommodation with a washing machine provided. I want to do a maintenance wash without breaking the machine (I tend to break can openers once a week!). Can I use thin bleach watered down? Don't have any white vinegar or soda crystals and would rather not go out today .

I use a liquid detergent because powder ones tend to set off an allergic reaction. I have been pre-washing baby clothes and they have been coming out OK, but not our everyday clothes and the stains aren't coming out either. Major nuisnace since my DP does a heavy manual labour job and tends to need clothes washed every day.

Any help for this trying-to-be-domesticated-mum appreciated. TIA!

Just do it with nothing - stick on a boil wash. Then when you go shopping next, get the necessary bi carb or vinegar.
