shower seal on curved shower screen over bath - anyone had success?

I have just spent 2 hours of my life trying to fit a plastic seal on bottom of the shower panel - it is a curved panel and the seal is quite rigid and straight! I was assured by the store (showersealshop.com) that it would work, but every time I got it fitted on one end and pushed it onto the rest of the glass it popped off!
So I will be using a towel to soak up the water that will land on the floor unless someone has used a better product - please!!!!

I have one of these and it went on OK, was stiff at first though.

Suggest warming it by soaking in hot water to make it a bit more pliable, maybe use marigolds to get it on for better grip or if seal a bit hot.
Possibly also a smidge of vaseline along the edge of the glass to help it along a bit (ooer) - you can wipe excess off after but only a dap should do trick.

Well worth the effort - my screen looks fab and everyone comments on my lovely bathroom.

that's encouraging. I have delayed trying again but will do when I have calmed down!

Oh, I remember that...stupid seal is straight and stiff [ahem] so I left it to DH to do.

[Wins unhelpful post of the year award]

Looked good when it was done though...we've just moved and now have inherited a blue bathroom suite with brown tiles.

I had to used the hairdryer to make mine warm enough to mold to the curve.

Hairdryer to warm it and about fifteen hands to hold the middle and end in place whilst shaping it on to the screen.
